The Goldplus Nano car is billed in the form of the world’s first gold jewelry car and celebrates the 5000 year old jewelery making industry in India.
The body of the car is made of 80 kilograms 22 carats of concrete gold, 15 kilograms of silver, precious stones – diamonds, rubies and other gems.
Approximately 14 techniques of making jewelery have gone behind this effort – showing delicate and colorful work from the complex metal work, showing the convergence of kundan from traditional nakashi to diverse and culturally different ornaments around India.
After its spectacular launch in Mumbai, on Monday evening, the Goldplus Nano car will travel to all the Goldplus showrooms at 29 locations all over the country.
